Holiday Video

Learning how to use the green screen to make our video look as good as possible was a challenge for me and Ryan, seeing that I was going to leave for the Philippines in only a week. That would leave Ryan to finish what was left of the project. Luckily we finished soon with the first run of footage taken. I learned to use animated text to flow in the last bits of our product to add some "flavor", if you will, to our video. If me and Ryan had more time to film and edit the final part instead of the animated text we could of done even more interesting things to make it even better. I would say the most challenging aspect of this project was the fact that I was leaving school early and we were really checking the clock. But even then we finished editing the entire video before most of the other groups. I felt we did a good job in gathering the information and using it as an advantage. We did so with the teleporting transition between holidays. It was a gret idea that kept the video fun and positive, especially since it's the holidays. What i might have done differently? I liked how one group used cell phones to tell each other how they celebrated their holidays. It seemed more serious, which is good in many cases. But comedy was a good suit me and Ryan used well. We split the responsiblities of the project in half. We would switch back and forth because we would share our ideas and take control to easily show what we were trying to represent. I searched for music but to no avail. Ryan found the perfect music to our video in my opinion. I think me and Ryan had difficulties due to the fact that I was leaving soon and that Ryan had to leave to work for BLT. But we've overcome it and did a pretty good job. If I was given another chance to this project over again, I wouldn't know what to change honestly. I liked the ideas of other groups but it's there ideas. To me it just means for me to work harder and help my group create a great video. I had fun working with Ryan, even if he transferred to first block, I look forward to the next projects that await our class.
